The AI Shop Assistant
What it is
The Shop Assistant is an AI you talk to like a teammate, pinned at the top of your chat list. Ask it about your shop and it answers from your real data, in plain language. It reads, it doesn’t change anything, so you can ask freely.
What you can ask
- How’s the shop doing? It’ll sum up production, throughput, revenue, and flag where to dig in.
- Production and turnaround — jobs completed lately, your busiest day, average prep, approval-wait, and production times.
- Money — paid revenue over the last 30 days, overdue invoices, top customers by revenue.
- Workload — how work is spread across your team.
- Something specific — tag a job, invoice, customer, or worker with
@and ask about it directly. “What’s the status of @INV-0042?”
It only uses your actual numbers. It won’t invent figures, if it doesn’t have something, it says so.
Who can use it
The Shop Assistant is available to admins on the Professional plan (and during the trial), since it surfaces revenue and shop-wide data.
Each shop has a daily usage allowance for the assistant that resets at midnight UTC. You can watch how much you’ve used in Settings → AI assistant usage. If you hit the limit, the assistant pauses until the meter resets.
