Adding a fee

Beyond the garments, most jobs carry charges: screen setup, a rush surcharge, an art fee. Add these to a quote as fees. Each fee has:

• A name (what the customer sees).
• An amount, either a fixed dollar figure or a percentage of the order.
• A taxable flag, so tax is calculated correctly.

Fees roll into the quote total and carry over to the invoice when the quote is approved.

Fee presets

The same handful of fees show up on most quotes. Save them once as fee presets in Settings → Fee presets so you can drop them onto any quote in a click instead of retyping.

For each preset you set:

• Name and amount (fixed or percentage).
• Taxable — whether tax applies.
• Show by default — whether it appears automatically on new quotes.

A preset marked show by default lands on every new quote ready to go, which is handy for a standard setup charge you apply to nearly everything. Presets you use only sometimes stay one click away in the fee picker.
