Advancing stages & the worker view
What a worker sees
A worker signs in and sees only the jobs assigned to them, nothing else. It’s a focused view built for the floor: the work in front of them, and the next action to take. Workers don’t see pricing, analytics, or other people’s jobs. See Team & roles.
Moving a job forward
Advancing a job is one tap. As the work gets done, the worker taps the job from prep to approval to in production to complete. On a multi-part job they complete each part and location as they finish it, and the job’s overall status rolls up automatically.
Every tap is timestamped. That’s what keeps the production board live and your analytics accurate, the worker just does their job, and the data records itself.
Works on any device
The worker view runs on whatever’s on your floor: an iPad at a station, a phone in someone’s pocket, a shared laptop. There’s nothing to install. One tap moves a job forward, wherever the work happens.
Workers sign in with a username and password you set, no email required. Set them up in Team & roles.
Pausing work
A job can be paused when work stops for a reason outside the shop’s control, waiting on a customer, a supply holdup. Paused time is excluded from your phase timings, so a job that sat overnight on hold doesn’t inflate your production averages. See Analytics.
