Direct messages

Open the chat bubble in the corner of the app to message your team. Tap New conversation, search for a teammate by name, and start a one-on-one chat. Conversations are listed with the most recent on top, each showing the person, their role, the last message, and an unread dot.

Team chat is one-on-one, direct messages between two people. The chat panel goes with you across the app, so you can keep a conversation going while you work.

@mentions

Type @ in a message to tag something. The picker searches four kinds of things in your shop:

People — your teammates.
Jobs — by name or invoice number.
Invoices — by number or title.
Customers — by name or company.

Pick one and it drops into your message as a tappable chip. When your teammate taps it, it takes them straight to that job, invoice, customer, or person, no hunting. “Can you check @INV-0042?” becomes a link, not a scavenger hunt.

Tagging only works when you pick from the @ picker. Typing a name by hand doesn’t create a link, choose it from the list so it becomes a real, clickable reference.
