Scheduling & assigning jobs

Pick a job from the unscheduled tray

Jobs without a date sit in the unscheduled tray on the side. These are the jobs waiting to be planned.

Drag it onto a day

Drag a job onto a date to schedule it. Switch between day, week, and month views depending on how far ahead you’re planning.

Order the day

Drag jobs up and down within a single day to set the order they should run. The top of the day is what gets worked first.

Assign a worker

Click the worker dropdown on the job card and pick who’s responsible. Assign it to one person, or leave it unassigned for now. On a multi-part job you can assign individual parts and locations to different workers.

Unschedule when plans change

Drag a job back to the unscheduled tray to clear its date. It drops out of the calendar and waits to be rescheduled.

Workers see only the jobs assigned to them, and the schedule view they get is read-only, they can see what’s planned but not move other people’s work. See Team & roles.

Due dates are informational

A due date you set on an invoice records when payment or delivery is expected, but it doesn’t auto-schedule the job. You decide what runs when by placing it on the calendar. The two work together: the due date tells you the deadline, the schedule is how you hit it.
