The approval hold

At the Awaiting Approval stage, a job pauses for a sign-off, a customer approving a press check photo, or someone internal confirming the art before it runs. The job sits in this stage on the board until it’s cleared.

Anyone can clear it

Both admins and workers can approve at this stage. That’s deliberate: production is never blocked waiting on one specific person. Whoever has the sign-off in hand can move the job forward, so a quick yes doesn’t turn into a half-day delay.

Why it’s a real stage

Approval wait is one of the three phases ManagePrint times. If approvals are your bottleneck, the approval wait figure in your analytics will show it plainly, and you’ll know the fix is in how fast sign-offs come back, not on the shop floor.
