Managing statuses
Status customization is admin-only and applies per shop. Set it once and it applies to everyone on your team.
Open status settings
Go to Settings → Statuses to manage your invoice pipeline.
Add a status
Create a status, give it a name, and pick a color. Color matters more than it sounds: a glance at the board should tell you where everything stands.
Drop it in the right place
Drag your statuses into the order you want. Put QC right after In Production. Put Receiving wherever it belongs in your flow. The order you set is the order your team sees.
Rename or recolor anytime
Every status can be renamed and recolored later, including the defaults. Make the language match your shop, not a manual.
What you can’t break
A few statuses are load-bearing, the rest of ManagePrint counts on them existing. You can rename, recolor, and reorder them freely, but you can’t delete them:
- New, In Production, Completed.
Everything else is yours to add, remove, and arrange.
Deleting a status you’ve been using doesn’t delete the orders in it, but it’s cleaner to reassign them first so nothing looks orphaned on the board.
