The shop floor team view

A board for the wall

The team view is a read-only display built for a monitor on your shop floor. Open it on a screen and the whole shop sees what’s happening, without anyone signing in or being able to change anything.

It’s reached by a special link tied to your shop, so the screen on the wall just shows the board, no login screen, no editing.

What it shows

The team view has a few tabs:

  • Today’s jobs — everything scheduled for today, each with its customer, status, a progress bar (completed parts out of total), the assigned worker, and a pause indicator if it’s on hold. Overdue work still shows here so it doesn’t get forgotten.
  • Workers — each worker and what they’re carrying.
  • Shop status — a summary of where jobs stand across the shop.

A live clock keeps the screen current.

The link can be rotated if you ever need to retire an old one, the previous link stops working when you do. There’s no login, so anyone with the link can view the board (but only view it).
