Quotes

A quote is what you propose: the products, the quantities, the print locations, the fees, and the price. You build it, send the customer a link, and they approve it in two taps.

Why quotes matter

The quote is the front door to everything else. When a customer approves a quote, ManagePrint automatically creates an invoice and a job from it. You never re-enter line items, the order is billable and in production the instant it’s approved.

That one-approval-creates-two-records idea is the core of the platform. If you read one concept page, read The job lifecycle.

A quote’s life

  1. Draft — you’re building it.
  2. Sent — it’s out with the customer, waiting on a yes.
  3. Approved — they signed off. An invoice and job are created.
  4. Rejected — they declined.

These four statuses are the backbone of the approval flow, so they can’t be deleted. The pipeline you shape yourself is your invoice pipeline. See Build your own workflow.

Quotes are admin-only to build. Managers and workers can open one but cannot create, edit, or delete a quote, a line item, or a fee. See Roles.
